My friend Ed texted this to me at the beginning of the week, along with this caption:
Then Amy got a similar letter.
Then Liam got a similar letter.
After thinking about all of the people across the country who must be getting similar letters, I decided to make a comic strip version of Ed's fictional description with the National Guard at a checkpoint.
"Let me see your papers.." asked the National Guardsman with a scowl. I nervously dug out the document from my wallet hoping it would be enough to get me through the checkpoint. The soldier on the APC eyed me suspiciously from behind his machine gun...
